We enjoyed the second Slavic Soundwalking literary-sound walk, starting from the Cukrarna, where participants downloaded the app, selected the Slovenian language, and began discovering literary stories around Ljubljana. Stories in Sound – discussion with creators at the Audio Festival in Cukrarna

As part of the Audio Festival in Cukrarna, the Slavic Soundwalking app was presented, featuring insights from app creator Jelena Remetin, actor Saša Tabaković, and radio journalist Dr. Biljana Žikić. Following the presentation, participants joined a Slavic Soundwalking / Literary Sound Walk through the streets of Ljubljana, showcasing the app’s unique blend of literature and sound.

The SSW project and mobile application were presented in Ljubljana

The Slavic SoundWalking project and mobile application were presented in Ljubljana on September 30, International Translation Day, at the ZRC SAZU. The event included a press conference, a sound walk to Tromostovje, a sign language workshop, and a discussion on Alma Bejtullah’s monograph Sounds and Movements of Diversity, marking the start of a rich cultural program in Ljubljana.

Art adapted for people with disabilities – Panel discussion

Join us on Wednesday, July 3rd, at 8 PM at Hartefakt House for the panel discussion “Art Adapted for People with Disabilities.” The event will feature experts and artists discussing the accessibility of art, including the Slavic Soundwalking mobile app, which offers stories in multiple languages, including sign language, making art more inclusive for deaf and hard-of-hearing users.
