On Tuesday, June 25th, at 7 PM, Hartefakt House will host the panel discussion “Translating Literature into Other Forms and Media.
In a month when we launched a new competition for the best contemporary socially engaged dramatic text and unveiled a mobile app featuring 75 unpublished short stories by contemporary authors from Serbia, Croatia, and Slovenia, we want to delve deeper into the world of stories and literature.
How do stories travel across different forms and media, how do creators approach literature in their work, and how do they transform it into their medium (music, sculpture, painting, scenography)? These questions will be explored with:
🔸 Irena Popović Dragović, composer and director,
🔸 Mrđan Bajić, artist,
🔸 Vesna Popović, scenographer.
Join us for this engaging discussion at Hartefakt House, or follow the event live on our social media platforms if you’re unable to attend in person. The panel will be moderated by author and director Patrik Lazić.
This event is part of the Slavic Soundwalking project, co-funded by the European Union through the Creative Europe program. With this panel, we also announce the launch of the Slavic Soundwalking mobile app on June 29th, offering an interactive tour of Belgrade through contemporary stories!
