The workshop "Transformation of Personal Story into Literary Story" is dedicated to discovering and mapping personal stories from the lives of each participant, who are willing to use them as material for monologues, dramas, plays inspired by their own experiences, or other literary forms in the future.
The workshop will focus on the first phase of this process: becoming aware of personal material/experience from which the story can be built, processing and selecting material from memories, as well as the initial phase of writing a monologue or drama. Participants will be tasked with finding their deepest memories (those that have marked their personality and character), identifying the voices in their heads that "speak", and then focusing on their fears and shame. Based on all of this, their own experiences will be considered as a template for a dramatic structure, future theatrical production, or other literary form.
The workshop is especially intended for students of directing, dramaturgy, and literature, but we encourage those who do not have previous experience but are interested in this topic to apply as well.
