The initial meeting for the Slavic Soundwalking project recently happened in Zagreb, starting a new chapter for this creative endeavor. Partners from Croatia, Slovenia, and Serbia gathered to discuss and define the direction of a project that merges narratives, technology, and the act of walking.
The literary and digital project Slavic Soundwalking officially began with the two days meeting of partners held in February 2023. The holder of the project is the Cultural Information Center (KIC) from Zagreb, and the gathered partners are the art organization YELO- for interdisciplinary artistic process from Zagreb, the Heartefact Foundation from Belgrade, the Cultural Center Danilo Kiš from Ljubljana, with the participation of an associated partner - the Croatian Association of the Deaf and hard of hearing.
Discussions focused on strategic planning, the integration of mobile technology with literary content, and ways to engage and expand audiences across and beyond the region. The meeting also addressed logistical and creative challenges, setting the stage for a project that promises to enrich the cultural landscape of the participating countries
